The book is a 4 page foldout bound by 8" gold leafed nails. The nails are bound with black sheer ribbon which is sandwiched between black matboard and black Arches paper. Photos taken from Vietnam are mounted on each page. A poem about war is then interlaced from page to page. At the start of the poem it is 3" in height and ends at 3/4". Like the book and photos it is seen from front and back. The title of the book is an embossed brass plate. It is stored in a clamshell box.
